Tallinn is set to upgrade Apteegi, Kooli, and Gümnaasiumi streets in the Old Town. The renovation will include the reconstruction of district heating pipelines in collaboration with Utilitas, as well as upgrades to water supply and sewerage systems in cooperation with Tallinna Vesi.

This week, the Tallinn City Government adopted a detailed plan for the area between Filtri tee and Masina street in Kesklinn. Due to the national defense purpose of the Juhkentali military complex, much of the area will remain closed to the public.

Utility work will be carried out on Uus Street to provide residents with better-quality heating. The city will also build curbless sidewalks to create a shared urban space that is friendly to all road users.

The City of Tallinn is finalizing its environmental noise reduction action plan. By law, the city is required to mitigate noise exceeding legal limits in public spaces, ensuring a healthy living environment and supporting business activities.

This year, the City of Tallinn has supported the restoration of privately-owned heritage buildings and architecturally valuable structures with nearly €500,000. Next year’s budget plans to increase this amount by an additional €250,000.

Construction of the Lasnamäe Circular Economy Center is set to begin soon, following a construction agreement signed by Tallinn Property Department, Tallinn Circular Economy Center, and Fund Ehitus OÜ. This will be Tallinn's second purpose-built circular economy center, aimed at helping residents manage waste closer to home and in a more environmentally conscious way.

The Ministry of Climate, with support from the European Union, is allocating nearly €20 million to Tallinn to build a new tram line to Pelguranna. Combined with the city's contribution, the total investment exceeds €28 million.
