This September, Estonia will host a rare basketball spectacle: the Japanese top-league club Yokohama B-Corsairs, featuring Estonian national team star Maik-Kalev Kotsar, and the newly crowned Polish champions Warsaw Legia, coached by Heiko Rannula, will play a series of pre-season exhibition games in Estonia. Their opponents will include each other as well as Estonia’s top clubs BC Kalev/Cramo and Tartu Ülikool Maks & Moorits.
On Wednesday, 27 August, Mustamäe Männi Park will transform into a real Olympic village, where everyone can find an activity they enjoy. Starting at 16:00, you can try 20 different sports and activities – from classic athletics and basketball to parkour, curling, and yard games. And it’s all completely free!
On the top-class beach volleyball courts set up at Tallinn’s Freedom Square, enthusiasts can play until 22 August, and on the 3x3 basketball courts until 12:00 on 24 August.
European Capital of Sport Tallinn invites you on Thursday, 21 August at 17:00 to Freedom Square, where an outdoor gym demo workout with Ott Kiivikas will take place.
