The Tallinn Transport Department is improving traffic management at the intersection of Reidi tee and Jõe Street to increase the junction’s capacity, particularly for traffic heading towards Ahtri Street. The work includes adjustments to road markings and lane layouts to ensure smoother traffic flow and reduce congestion.

Reconstruction of Peterburi maantee will begin on 18 September. The goal of the project is to redesign the street space to make it safer and more people-centred. The work will affect traffic arrangements, and public transport routes will be adjusted.

This year, more than 10,000 people took part in Tallinn’s participatory budget vote, selecting the best ideas for developing their local districts.

The Tallinn Urban Planning Department has initiated the detailed planning process for the properties at Paljassaare tee 5 and 7 and the surrounding area in Põhja-Tallinn, creating the conditions for the comprehensive implementation of the film stuudio complex Tallinn Film Wonderland.

The Swedbank Tallinn Marathon and Tallinna Sügisjooks (Autumn Run) will take place on the weekend of 13–14 September, bringing tens of thousands of running enthusiasts to the districts of Põhja-Tallinn, Kesklinn, and Haabersti. As a result, there will be temporary changes to traffic and public transport.

The City of Tallinn offers residents free legal counselling, provided according to a schedule in every district. The next sessions will take place on 4 September at Pirita District Government, on 11 September at Kaja Cultural Centre, and on 25 September at Lasnamäe District Government — all from 9:00–13:00.

From 1 September, Tallinn, in cooperation with Rae Municipality and Põhja-Eesti Ühistranspordikeskus (North-Estonia Public Transport Centre), will launch bus line No. 47, connecting Ülemiste City and Peetri. Initially, the new line will operate until the end of this year.

During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.

The City of Tallinn, the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival aka PÖFF, and Tallinn Film Wonderland have reached an agreement that a green area dedicated to the film festival will be established next to the future studio complex Tallinn Film Wonderland.
