Creative activities for young people this school holiday
Starting on 20 October, Tallinn offers children and young people a wide choice of school holiday camps and activities — from creative workshops and technology labs to sports, theatre, and outdoor adventures.
Free legal advice available in Pirita, Mustamäe and Lasnamäe in September
The City of Tallinn offers residents free legal counselling, provided according to a schedule in every district. The next sessions will take place on 4 September at Pirita District Government, on 11 September at Kaja Cultural Centre, and on 25 September at Lasnamäe District Government — all from 9:00–13:00.
In October, Tallinn accepts hazardous waste free of charge
During the last two weekends of October, residents of Tallinn can once again give away hazardous waste free of charge. On October 23, hazardous waste are collected in Kesklinn and Lasnamäe, on October 24 in Kristiine and Põhja-Tallin, on October 30 in Pirita and Mustamäe, and on October 31 in Haabersti and Nõmme.
Head of Tallinn Education Department to resign on 8 July
By order of the City Government, Andres Pajula, head of Tallinn Education Department, will be relieved of his duties on 8 July 2022.
War memorial on Viljandi maantee relocated to Liiva cemetery
The memorial stone, which was located in the car park near the intersection of Valdeku tänav and Viljandi maantee in Tallinn, was today relocated to the Liiva cemetery.
Residents are receiving bio-waste collection containers
To promote the separate collection of bio-waste, Tallinn is distributing bio-waste collection containers free of charge to everybody interested.
Tallinn district governments only collect toiletries for war refugees
Tallinners have donated large quantities of essential items to the Ukrainian war refugees through their district governments, but at the moment collection points are only accepting basic hygiene items, which are still in great need.
Tallinn offers residents free legal advice in city districts
From 30 March, Tallinn is offering free legal advice to residents in ten scheduled consultation days in all eight of the city districts.
Tallinn collects donations for war refugees at the district governments
In order to better match the donations of helpful citizens of Tallinn with the urgent needs of war refugees from Ukraine, Tallinn is organising a collection of everyday items in the district administrations from Thursday, 10 March.
