In October, the City of Tallinn offers residents a free and convenient way to hand over bulky waste, hazardous waste, and reusable items in an environmentally conscious manner.

The City of Tallinn offers residents free legal counselling, provided according to a schedule in every district. The next sessions will take place on 4 September at Pirita District Government, on 11 September at Kaja Cultural Centre, and on 25 September at Lasnamäe District Government — all from 9:00–13:00.

In March this year, Tallinn launched a free Museum Sundays initiative at city-owned museums to raise awareness of museum activities and improve access to culture. In half a year, the initiative has attracted a large number of visitors, with a record 9180 museum-goers visiting the museums on Museum Day in August.

Tens of thousands of people have had the chance to visit Tallinn's museums free of charge during the year since the city's Museum Sundays programme was launched in 2022.The most important cultural investment this year is the construction of the Tallinn City Theatre, which will be completed in 2023.

The first free Museum Sunday of 2023 will take place this Sunday, 8 January. The initiative will be joined by the Nõmme Museum, located in the former station building.

This Sunday, 7 May, the Contemporary Art Museum of Estonia will again participate in a free of charge Museum Sunday after being closed for the winter season. Due to construction works and various events, the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds Visitor Centre will not take part in the Museum Sundays until August.
