Eight political parties, two electoral alliances and ten independent candidates have submitted their candidacy documents to the electoral committee for the Tallinn City Council elections.
Yesterday, on August 18, the new visitor centre was presented at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak) that tells a story of the Signing Revolution, the tradition of Song Festivals, and the history of the Song Festival Grounds. The centre was created in time for the 30th Anniversary of the Restoration of Independence and will be welcoming all visitors from August 31.
Tallinn City Government has decided to allocate €25,000 to the Tallinn Social Welfare and Healthcare Department for a targeted subsidy to the Estonian Red Cross to support the Ukrainian Red Cross in providing humanitarian aid to the people of Eastern Ukraine.
