The existing Business Centre and Consumer Protection Division will be replaced by two new units: the Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Department of International Economic Partnerships.
Nearly 47,000 students begin the school year in Tallinn’s municipal schools
In the 2025/26 academic year, there are 60 municipal general education schools in Tallinn, with approximately 47,000 students enrolled. Around 3,700 children are starting first grade. The city also provides a start-of-school-year allowance for students up to the age of 19.
