As per Government of the Republic Resolution of 29 December, the tourism sector will be supported by an additional 8 million euros, to which the remaining 1.9 million euros from the tourism crisis support given out in spring will be added. Application for accommodation companies and Tallinn Old Town catering companies is open from 29. March 9.00 to 8. April 16.00. Application for travel companies and sellers of handicraft, souvenirs or Estonian designs is open from 30. March 9.00 to 8. April 16.00.

Tallinn’s e-government services received third place in the UN’s 2022 digital services ranking. Estonia continues to be in first place among European Union member states in providing digital public services.

This year, the City of Tallinn plans to support housing associations with €1.71 million. Tomorrow 1 March is the deadline for the Yard maintenance grant. All other support measures are accepted all year round until the end of the budget.

Tallinn has been recognized as the world’s top city for delivering digital public services in the UN's 2024 E-Government Survey, sharing the top spot with Madrid. Estonia also remains a global leader in e-services.

From 5 February to 16 March, property owners can apply for restoration grants from the Tallinn Urban Planning Department. The grant is available to owners of architecturally valuable buildings, monuments, structures located in heritage or conservation areas, and individual objects of cultural value. An informational session will be held next week to provide further details.

Starting this year, Tallinn is directing apartment association support funds towards activities that contribute to the sustainable renovation of apartment buildings and courtyards. The changes also simplify the application and processing of support grants. In total, the city will allocate over €2.4 million in support for apartment associations.

As of May 1, 2024, Tallinn updated its procedure for allocating municipal housing to ensure that housing is provided to those who need it most within a reasonable timeframe. Municipal housing is a temporary support measure designed to assist residents and their families facing difficulties for a specific period.
