From today, 3 September to 1 October, all Tallinners will be able to submit proposals on which projects could be funded from the city's participatory budget in 2022.

On Saturday and Sunday, 4-5 September, Tallinn celebrates the beginning of the Green Mobility Month and holds an event “Green Journey in the Heart of the City”, which will take place on Estonia puiestee and Tammsaare Park to raise awareness about green mobility and encourage sustainable means of transport.

During the last two weekends, 21-22 and 27-29 August, a total of 2,690 people were vaccinated in 16 schools in Tallinn. The construction of the lighting solution in the pedestrian tunnels of the Haabersti traffic junction has been completed. The newly installed lights in the Suurhall and Zoo tunnels replicate the movement of people in the walkway and change colour according to the speed of movement.

Tallinn celebrates the arrival of Chinese New Year on Friday, February 12 at Vabaduse Square and Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. New Year's celebrations include dance, drum and light performances, fire sculptures, demonstrations of oriental martial arts, and the traditional fireworks display. Spectators are welcome to Vabaduse Square from 1 pm, the program at the Song Festival Grounds starts at 4 pm.

Construction work for the construction of Tondiraba Park in Lasnamäe will start in March. The park will become the largest recreation area in the capital, which will provide plenty of space for both people and nature.
