Starting today and running through 14 April, all Tallinn residents are invited to submit ideas for improving the city’s living environment.

The Tallinn City Government has submitted a draft decision to the City Council for the adoption of a detailed plan for the Pikaliiva 69 property and its surrounding area in Haabersti District.

From now on, all submitted ideas will be presented in public discussions held in every district, allowing local residents to have a direct say in selecting the best projects.

As part of the Tallinn – European Capital of Sport 2025 program, a winter swimming day will take place on Saturday, February 22.

The City of Tallinn and Viimsi Municipality have signed a joint agreement to extend bus line no. 1, which currently runs to Viimsi center, all the way to Vimka mägi.

Experts from Tallinn Botanic Garden have conducted studies in recent years, showing that Tallinn has preserved a significant diversity of lichens and mosses, including species that are endangered and protected in Estonia.

From 1 September, Tallinn, in cooperation with Rae Municipality and Põhja-Eesti Ühistranspordikeskus (North-Estonia Public Transport Centre), will launch bus line No. 47, connecting Ülemiste City and Peetri. Initially, the new line will operate until the end of this year.

In February, the City of Tallinn and Viimsi Municipality signed a joint memorandum of understanding, under which bus line No. 1, which currently ends in Viimsi Centre, will be extended to Vimka Ski Centre starting 1 September.

From September 18th to October 8th, all residents of Tallinn have the opportunity to submit proposals for projects that could be implemented in the city's public spaces next year through the participatory budget.

As a part of the Tallinn – European Capital of Sport 2025 programme, the Winter Swimming Day will take place on Saturday, 22 February.
