The second day of the Tallinn Day program, 14 May, will be dedicated to the city districts, which will organize several exciting events. One of the highlights of the spring season will be the flower-planting workshops in the districts of Kesklinn, Haabersti, Nõmme, Kristiine, Lasnamäe, and Põhja-Tallinn.
This weekend, 21-22 May, residents of Haabersti, Mustamäe, Nõmme and Pirita will be able to dispose of both hazardous waste and reusable items at a collection stop near their homes.
August 20 marks the 30th anniversary of the Restoration of Independence of the Republic of Estonia. The anniversary events in Tallinn will start today at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds (Lauluväljak), where a new visitor centre is opened. On August 19-21, there will be several concerts and events taking place all over the city.
From September 1, Tallinn public transport will switch over to winter schedule, and therefore the timetables of many bus lines and all tram and trolleybus lines will change. School buses will also be on the route again.
The Tallinn City Government determined the locations of the polling stations in the local elections, paying attention to comfort and flexibility of the voting, meanwhile ensuring the protection of the voters’ health in the conditions of the virus outbreak.
Friday to Sunday, 27-29. On August 10 at 20-20, vaccinations can be administered without pre-registration in ten Tallinn schools, vaccination is available in every district. Until the end of August, a vaccination point will also be open in the City Office.
From March 1 to March 15, parents can submit applications for the assignment of a school of residence for children entering the first grade of a Tallinn municipal school in September 2021.
From Monday 13 June, 14 school stadiums and 4 sports fields will be open to the public in Tallinn, free of charge. At least one school stadium will be opened in each district.
Tomorrow, 3 December, the eighth apartment association conference will take place at the Tallinn Creative Hub (Põhja pst 27). It is a traditional annual event for representatives of housing associations and apartment owners, addressing current housing issues and areas of cooperation between the city and association members.
