This Saturday, March 9, marks the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Air Force's air raid on Tallinn. Led by the Estonian Heritage Society, several commemorative events will be held in the city to honor this solemn anniversary.
The Tallinn City Government has allocated €5,870 from its reserve fund to the Estonian Heritage Society (Eesti Muinsuskaitse Selts) for supporting events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the March Bombing. The society has been organizing memorial events on March 9th in Tallinn since 1989, honoring the victims of the bombing.
Kristiine District Administration urges people to bring Christmas trees to the designated collection point. The campaign lasts until 16th of January, and the trees can be given away for free!
