On Saturday 24 December and Monday 26 December, Tallinn public transport will operate according to Sunday timetables.

Tallinn will continue to compensate families for the increase in kindergarten fees in the new year - parents will receive a subsidy or compensation if the child and at least one parent are continuously resident in Tallinn from 31 December 2022 onwards.

The City of Tallinn, AS Tallinna Linnatransport (TLT) and the Estonian Red Cross signed a cooperation agreement to donate 20 diesel buses to the Ukrainian city of Zhõtomyr. The buses will be accompanied by a humanitarian shipment of essential supplies to Ukraine.

At the end of 2022, Tallinn city made a goal to save at least 10 per cent on energy compared to the previous year. To reduce energy costs, various energy-saving measures have successfully been implemented in the city’s buildings, adjusting technical systems and influencing habits of employees.

From 22 March, in Lasnamäe, the construction of the Lasnamäe light traffic route that began at the end of last year will continue on the section between J. Smuuli Road and Valge Street.
