On Friday, 29 August, the city of Tallinn will come alive with the urban culture festival Kultuuriöö (“Culture Night”). This one-day festival features more than twenty diverse events that highlight the richness of the city’s cultural scene, introduce new artists to the public, and invite audiences to reflect on important themes in culture. This year’s festival carries the subtitle “Me and the Machine.”

The city and culture festival, Culture Night, fills Tallinn with music, art, film, workshops, discussions and walks on 25 August.

Until April 29, the application round is open for organizing cultural events during the urban space festival ’Kultuuriöö (Culture Night)’, taking place on August 30. This year's Culture Night carries the subtitle “Boundless Horizons”, highlighting alternative cultural forms operating on the fringes.

On Friday, August 30, the Kultuuriöö (Culture Night) event, "Ääretud silmapiirid (Boundless horizons)," will transform Tallinn's urban space into a vibrant center of cultural activities. In the evening, a special concert will take place at the Viru Keskus bus terminal, and passengers on night buses departing from the Balti Jaam station will be treated to literary readings.

Tomorrow, on the evening of August 30 at 18:00 , Tallinn will host the vibrant Kultuuriöö (Culture Night) event, this time under the theme "Boundless Horizons." Now in its eighth year, the festival highlights alternative cultural forms and brings young and lesser-known artists to the stage.

As a UNESCO City of Music, Tallinn pays special attention to music events that that add vibrancy to the city's cultural lineup. For the first round of music project grants in 2024, the city will allocate a total of €154,070 to support 32 initiatives. A record number of 90 projects were submitted for this funding round.

Tallinn is supporting 11 cultural events with a total of 20,000 euros as part of the Culture Night (Kultuuriöö) festival on August 30. This year's Culture Night, titled "Endless Horizons," highlights alternative cultural forms.

Now in its eighth year, the festival highlights cultural forms from the periphery and brings to the stage young and lesser-known cultural creators. The event will feature music, art, film, performances, exhibitions, movement, discussions, and various workshops.
